The client required a high-quality, reliable audio-visual system capable of supporting multiple high-definition displays and a dynamic sound environment. They needed a robust network infrastructure to handle the demands of simultaneous streaming and audio control, along with a user-friendly system that could be easily managed by the staff. Additionally, the installation had to be consistent across multiple locations, ensuring a uniform experience for all patrons.

The Challenge

One of the main challenges was ensuring that the AV system could perform consistently across different locations, each with unique site-specific considerations. Our team addressed this by customizing the installation process for each site while maintaining the overall design integrity. The use of the voltage-regulated power supply unit, the ZeeVee bridge, and the RTI control system further mitigated potential issues related to power inconsistencies, video distribution, and system management.

We approached the project with a comprehensive solution that addressed all the client's needs:

Design and Planning: We began by designing a custom AV system tailored to the specific requirements of the sports bar chain. A key component of this design was the creation of a specialized rack and power supply unit equipped with a voltage regulator. This ensured a stable and reliable power source, protecting sensitive AV equipment from power fluctuations.
Network Infrastructure: We selected Ubiquiti for the network, router, and modem solution. Ubiquiti’s advanced networking capabilities provided the necessary bandwidth and reliability to support the high-definition displays and audio systems across the venue. The network was configured to manage data traffic efficiently, reducing latency and ensuring seamless operation.
Audio-Visual Installation: A total of 65 outdoor TV mounts were installed, each carefully positioned to optimize viewing angles for patrons in various locations within the bar, including outdoor areas. These mounts were chosen for their durability and ability to withstand environmental factors, ensuring long-term reliability.

To complement the visual experience, we installed a commercial sound processor from Bose. This high-quality audio solution allowed for precise control of sound distribution throughout the venue, ensuring that audio levels could be adjusted to suit the ambiance of different zones, from the lively main bar area to quieter dining spaces.

Advanced Video Distribution: To ensure smooth and flexible video distribution across all displays, we integrated a ZeeVee bridge HDB2840 4-channel HDMI. This powerful device allowed for efficient distribution of high-definition content to multiple screens, ensuring that every patron had access to the same high-quality viewing experience, regardless of their location within the venue.
Centralized Control System: We further enhanced the system’s functionality by integrating the RTI XP6s Control Processor. This processor served as the central hub for managing all AV equipment, lighting, and other automated systems within the venue. Paired with the RTI All-In-One Wall Controller, the staff could easily control the entire setup from a single, user-friendly interface. This ensured that the system could be operated smoothly and efficiently, with custom programming allowing for preset scenes and automated functions tailored to different events or needs.
